Lush Herbalism Cleanser review

As you probably know by now, when it comes to Lush, I'm a like a child in a sweetshop! For some reason though, I tend to stick to their bath & shower products, but the last time I popped in, I though I'd be a little more adventurous! I was in need of a new cleanser and stumbled upon their 'Herbalism'. The forest green concoction immediately caught my eye, but to be honest, it's overpowering vinegary smell put me off. But, after speaking with the shop assistant and telling her my problematic areas, she said this would best suite my skin type! I tend to have quite dry skin, but the recent arctic weather has left my skin drier than usual.

According to the little black pot, "Herbalism is made with 100% natural ingredients. It will help with spots, grease and calm troubled skin." The cleanser is a combination of: Ground Almonds, Kaolin, Glycerine, Chlorophyllin Water, Nettle, Rosemary and Rice Vinegar Extract, Rice Bran, Gardenia Extract, Rose Absolute, Chamomile Blue Oil, Sage Oil and Perfume.

I love how simple it is to use! Every night I take a pea size amount in the palm of my hand, add a drop of water and rub together to make a paste. I then rub it into my face as I would a moisturiser and wait a few minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water. The consistency makes it feel like I'm having a face mask every night! I'd definitely recommend it, as I always feel like my skin's had a deep cleanse and it leaves a lovely smooth base to apply my moisturiser. Not to mention, it's only £6.25 (100g) and by the looks of it, even with daily use, it'll be lasting me until spring.

Have you ever tried any Lush products? What's you favourite cleanser?
