Add Me On BBM

When it comes to colour combos, I've always thought that orange & purple are such an underrated duo. Think The Joker, Beyonce's iconic Versace dress in Crazy in Love and even The Graham Norton show (which I can only catch on BBC America now, sob).

You can imagine how thrilled I was when Glossier dropped their latest balm dotcom shade: BERRY!

As the name suggests, it leaves your lips with a berry tint and smells divine like the juicy filling of a Victoria sponge cake! *adds to basket* I've also been admiring their marketing strategies on the gram and their use of unconventional ways to promote the new addition such as offering a berry balm dotcom inspired compote recipe ~ how neat is that?! I used to make countless jars of jam every summer in Greece when visiting my grandmother and although it's been a minute, I'm temped to give it a whirl!

lol my friends used to joke that I could give Monica Geller a run for her $. All summer long everyone would post pix of them jet skiing, and then there's me with my beloved grandmother and jam.

Do you have a favourite balm dotcom flavour - I mean shade - ?

New Man On The Minnesota Vikings

What's better than a 15 min Lizzo jam session this fine morning?

The answer is nothing!

Flowers For Zoë

I was thrilled this morning when I saw pix of Zoë Kravitz on the July cover of British Vogue. The colour clashing orange and hot pink always go hand in hand and scream summer. It's been a BIG month for Zoë as season 2 of Big Little Lies dropped - which she stars in along side Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman & Meryl Streep (!!!) - and rumour has it she married her beau, Karl Glusman. As you guys know, I have adored Zoë for time and was once lucky enough to see her band Lola Wolf at the Sebright Arms in London - it was her birthday and the crowd were electric!

The issue hits newsstands this Friday, which just so happens to be the day we touch down in London. I have to say, I am loving the fresh direction Edward Enninful is taking British Vogue, each time a cover drops there's such a hype. I'm still dreaming of the day Meghan Markle will grace the cover, I live in hope!

Again - as a mega polka dot enthusiast, this look is giving me LIFE!

A Kiss On The Hand May Be Quite Continental

Today marks Marilyn Monroe's birthday and I'll take any excuse to celebrate the vibrant life of America's sweetheart. From her platinum blonde hair and pencilled mole, to her breathless voice, everything about Marilyn was iconic. Drew Barrymore's IG post this morning, gushing about the magnanimous icon says it all:

"Men love complicated women. Women love complicated women. But being inside that complexity is a private world no one can understand. So we watch and gaze wondering what it's like in that space only the greats can understand. I myself have stared at her my whole life wondering how one woman could have all that fire and vulnerability? She would have been 93 today. Somewhere she is."

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes has to be my favourite Monroe flick, especially the hilarious scene where she gets stuck in a porthole!

My absolute favourite shot of Marilyn.

In Mississauga (greater Toronto) there are two iconic twin towers which are locally known as the Marilyn Monroe towers thanks to their unique hourglass shape:

My partner's cousin actually lives in one and my soon to be brother-in-law proposed there recently - it was ever so romantic! We were in charge of flowers, balloons and cake:

What's your fave Marilyn moment?

Couture Is An Attitude

I've been a die hard fan of Jeremy Scott since his wicked collaboration with Adidas back in the day and his uber coveted wing sneakers. His bold designs are always well executed, his passion for fashion is infectious and everything about him is just so damn FUN! I admire how he takes what he does seriously, but he doesn't take himself seriously.

I'm equally a fan of <3 Moschino <3, so you can imagine how thrilled I am that he's creative director. Lately I'm LOVING their gorg scribble collection and apparently so is Hollyweird!

Glamour Spain

Gigi Hadid wore this to the launch of her FAO Schwarz event where she unveiled the new toy soldier uniforms she designed. I love the little details such as the empowering words CELEBRATE, WONDER, DISCOVER, SHARE & TOGETHER on the medal of honour.

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt also rocked this on a recent press trip to Berlin:

Moschino dominated this year's MET Gala, naturally considering the OTT camp theme, and I'm currently writing a mega thread on the night so stay tuned for that to drop.

What's your fave creation from Jeremy's wackydooda imagination?

Darling It's Better Down Where It's Wetter Take It From Me

Chelsea in bloom is a delightful scene every spring when retailers up and down Sloane Street, Duke of York Square and the King's Road in London are flooded with flower sculptures that are guaranteed to leave spectators in awe. It's truly a magnificent sight to witness (just beware if you suffer from hay fever - eeep!) The theme this year was Under the Sea which I was so thrilled to discover. Here's some corkers:

Game of Thrones fans will appreciate this underwater throne!

No surprises that Polpo recreated a floral tribute to their iconic logo.

How charming is Walpole Dentist Surgery's entry?

A little louder closer for the ppl in the back... <3 <3 <3 <3

I particularity liked this modest yet thought provoking installation by Marshall Wace, which highlighted our detrimental plastic waste crisis. Hopefully it succeeds in making passers by pause and (re)think:

Which tickles your fancy, or should I say, tentacle?
