Brew Break #20 Salubrious Solar-Orbital Anniversary!

For my brother Billy's girlfriend Beth's birthday last month (tongue twister), I was a little stumped/mystified on what to buy her - bare in mind, this is the lady who co-bought Fleetwood Mac tickets with my brother for my mum and I's birthday last year! As I'm working with a student budget, I knew it would be best to substitute the money I don't have, with the time I do. I was on the hunt for something personal. After almost giving up hope and procrastinating on Facebook, I noticed an ad for a Parisian brand called Print Klub.

Short on money, but long on time... slowly strolling in the sweet sunshine!

As Beth loves photography, I clicked on the link and was amazed by how much creative control I had in designing her gift - and also the wide range of options the site has. The idea is that you pick how you want your photos to be formatted (polaroids, photobooths, magnets....) then customize and add your own photos... it's super easy, genuinely amusing to play around with (i.e: reminisce over ancient Facebook photos) and cheap as chips! Funnily enough, I originally planned to create some Boomf, but as much as I love the novelty aspect, I wanted to create something less edible and more permanent.

Beth is a Primary School teacher, so I thought if I chose the photo booth option she could blue tack them to her desk or files. You also have the option of adding text, which is ideal if you're conjuring a gift...

During our summer holidays together visiting my Grandmother in Greece, I take an obscene amount of photos. I went into the vault for this project and threw in some unearthed photos that she hadn't seen before, which fingers crossed made the present a wee more special!

Even though the prints are already cheap to begin with, I received an email shortly after ordering which included a discount code to share with you guys. If you're ordering for the first time, use the promo code 'DAISP0' and £4 will be knocked off your total - in return, I'll get £4 off my next purchase.

How amazing is that?!

I'll definitely be creating some more prints in the future, possibly some magnets for my dad's new house (cracking house warming present, along with an opalite crystal which helps with transition) and some prints for my uni flat in September. If you have an office, you could do a Lily Pebbles and deck out an accent wall with Polaroid snaps.

Happy snapping!

P.S: Happy International Women's day! I went along to Southbank Centre's W.O.W Festival yesterday and caught some truly eye opening events. I'll be writing a post very soon, as I don't think the invaluable info we learned should be kept exclusive to Londoners! I'm currently in the midst of piecing together the jigsaw of ferociously written notes I made yesterday on notepads, napkins and leaflets...

Never you fear!
