Empties #6 I'll 'Ave A Volcano Please With An Extra Flake!

The harsh winds this season have had me reaching for my moisturiser more than ever. Eucerin's dermopurifyer is my go-to daytime moisturiser, as it's lightweight and has ace SPF coverage. I've also used this body shop vitamin E cream as my night moisturiser for years. Although I went through a Neutrogena hydro boost phase and was mega impressed.

I've used micellar water since my first trip to Paris four years ago. I stayed loyal to Bioderma for a few years, thanks to a French eBay seller but have since discovered Garnier's range. This oil infused one is my favourite as it removes eye makeup seamlessly. The L'Oreal infallible matte foundation lived up to its reputation - although I won't be repurchasing till the winter as spring is all about glowy skin.

This body shop eye gel was an impulse buy when I was killing time at Euston. If stored in the fridge, it's  pleasant to use in the mornings, but do I really think it made a difference? Absolutely not lol.

The body shop's Italian summer fig range = a student friendly Diptyque philosykos.

This Clinique chubby stick (in the shade super strawberry) was pretty handy when I was hostel hopping as it was the ultimate multipurpose product. Doubled up as a lip tint, blush, eye shadow and even highlight if you dab the excess pigment away.

It's no secret that the body shop's vitamin e range is my go-to and this face mist has been in my stash since high school. This strawberry body lotion however was a little too much - don't get me wrong the idea was to smell like the filling of a doughnut, but it just made me feel hungry all the time lol.

You ready for another student hack? I used to stock up on these Chloé deodorant sprays in duty free, at just £15 a pop. They smell exactly like the perfume, but without the price tag! This Vichy serum was also a delight to use, my skin drank it up.

This aloe cleanser was a birthday gift and although I usually stick to micellar water's this was unoffensive and best used as a second cleanser. These tea tree cleansing pads from superdrug were mega handy during my hostel hopping days, as the last thing I needed was a damp flannel with me whilst travelling. They suited their purpose I suppose, but I would only recommend them to travellers.

This hypnose drama mascara is the cat's pyjamas!

This L'Oreal telescopic mascara was also phenomenal and a wee more affordable. Bourjois' healthy balance powder is so finely milled and an everyday staple in my kit.

The iconic Liz Earle cleanse & polish and instant boost spritzer duo.
This skincare line deserves the hype, I must say!

This superdrug shower gel smells like the volcano you get from the ice cream man! If any fellow northerners want a lil nostalgia every morning, this is for you.

I picked up this Lush lip balm in Paris - not much to say, a soothing balm in adorable packaging that translates to kiss me

Origins do the BEST masks! The drink up in particular is a miracle worker!

I found this Hungarian chamomile hand cream under my bed that I picked up whilst interalling. The smell instantly whisks me off to mornings in Budapest and bumpy night trains to Warsaw. At first when I sprayed this Neom pillow mist I couldn't stand it as it was so heady, however the smell does get my eyes drooping.

The only other empties I can think of is the new strawberry oreos. If any British 90's kids are reading, they taste exactly like the Tom & Jerry cupcake mix. If you know, you know. M&S have also nailed the BBQ essentials range with their scrumptious aioli sauce and sicilian lemon mayo. Although we all know a BBQ isn't the same without some reggae reggae sauce too!

& I wonder why no one reads my blog...
