I recently picked up this delightful book of postcards in a thrift shop with the intent to fulfil my NY resolution of remaining loyal to the written word. Call me old-fashioned, but there's something so personal about sending a handwritten card, more so than a lacklustre FB post. I say that with no bid to sound righteous - trust me, this if coming from someone who thought of this iconic vine when naming this post.
I've always adored Cicely Mary Barker's quintessentially British and whimsical fairies as they used to be dotted on my grandmother's coasters growing up. It was a charming dose of nostalgia the morning that the thrift gods brought them to me.
